Our Mission

Our farm's mission is to provide the freshest and highest quality fruits and vegetables available in the Northeast. We are committed to quality and only grow what we know tastes the best!

We aim to lessen the distance between farm and plate, so everything you buy is picked the day you buy it. And if we're out of something in the stand, chances are we can run outside and get it for you!

Our Growing Practices

We focus on growing non-GMO produce and use sprays as little as possible to produce the healthiest food we can. Most of our products are entirely pesticide-free. Unfortunately, this often means that your salad greens might have a few bug bites in them!

But, as Ol' Poppy says:

"If the bugs won't eat it, why on earth would you?"

Meet the Farmers!

Sue

"In a nutshell, my hopes and dreams for farming? To grow strawberries without having to bend over!"

Sue is Ed's daughter, and came back from a career in engineering years ago to take over the family farm. She is currently working on designing a vertical growing system for strawberries in her spare time!

Ol' Poppy

Ed, better known as Ol' Poppy, is the gentlemen farmer of Pine Hill and founder of the vegetable business. He is known best for his careful selection and care for our sweet corn, giving him the reputation of the Sweet Corn King!

Can usually be found singing old show tunes in the corner of the farmstand with a Heineken in hand.
